Rust-Oleum Rust-O-Thane Accelerator 9997 is a special additive to reduce the drying time of the Rust-O-Thane 9600 or the Rust-O-Thane 9900 system. 


Recommended Uses

Rust-Oleum Accelerator 9997 should be used in the Rust-O-Thane 9600 or 9900 system in quantities of 2 - 4%. 


Formulation: Solvent-based

Pot life 9600 + 9997 (at 20C): 2 hrs
Touch dry 9600 + 9997 (bij 20C): 1 hr
Recoatable 9600 + 9997 (at 20C): 4 hrs
Full hardness 9600 + 9997 (at 20C): 3 days
Pot life 9900 + 9997 (at 20C): 1 hr
Touch dry 9900 + 9997 (bij 20C): 2 hrs
Recoatable 9900 + 9997 (at 20C): 4 hrs
Full hardness 9900 + 9997 (at 20C): 5 days

Directon For Use 

Stir individual components of the 9900 or 9600 thoroughly before mixing them together. Use the boxing method or a low speed mixer. Add the accelerator 9997 after the 2 components are thoroughly mixed.
