Fassitek UV Wood Primer is a waterbased anti-uv primer for varnish and stain, based on acryl copolymer


Recommended Uses 

For use underneath Fassitek, Fassitek Thixo or Fassithane. This primer is applied in one or two layers under the chosen stain or varnish. This UV Wood primer is an invisible protective layer that reduces damage from UV rays and prolongs the life of stains and varnishes 
  • Binds with the wood grain 
  • For use under Fassitek wood stains or Fassithane Varnishes 
  • Protects from UV damage 
  • Significantly extends varnish durability 
  • For use on bare or stripped wood 

Surface Preparation 

The wood has to be undamaged, stable, bare and dry, and free of micro-organisms, dirt, bark, paint, varnish and all other elements that can prejudice the adhesion (wax, grease, gloss finish etc.)
Remove mould with an appropriate cleaning product. 
The wood has to be degreased, sanded down, and then carefully dusted.
Do not apply on wood that is too humid, this decreases the product’s penetration and efficiency.
In case of doubt, test the product on a small surface
